NEMESIS project meeting in Helsinki | 24.5.2024
Finally the NEMESIS consortium members met in person! The first face-to-face NEMESIS project meeting was arranged in sunny Helsinki on 23 – 24 May 2024. Thirty scientists gathered together to work, present and discuss the tasks, progress, and plans of the work packages and the project as a whole.

NEMESIS press release: EU grants 8 million euros funding for a research project coordinated by Professor Jaana Rysä to study the metabolic effects of environmental chemicals | 13.12.2023
The European Union has granted 8 million euros in funding from the Horizon Europe Programme to an international research project (NEMESIS), which investigates the role of environmental chemicals as disrupters of normal human metabolism. Professor Jaana Rysä from the School of Pharmacy of the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) acts as the coordinator of the project, and Senior Researcher Jenni Küblbeck from A. I. Virtanen Institute is the vice coordinator. [read more]
